**Update** 2/25/2012 - We are excited to announce that Firefly has found her 'forever' home.   Thank you so much for your support and assistance in helping her found her new home.  She is truly a sweet girl, who has finally got the home she deserves.  Also thank you Elizabeth Jorgensen Photography for the fabulous pictures of Firefly.

Thank you all again for helping us get the word out.

Every once in a while we pull out all the stops to find a forever home for a deserving cat or dog who has been overlooked by adopters time and time again.  We’re making such an appeal on behalf of beautiful Firefly, and we will waive all adoption fees to the right home.

Firefly came to us from the Leavenworth shelter with a litter of kittens in May 12, 2009 and she is still waiting for her forever home.  All her kittens were adopted long ago, but because she is very shy upon first meeting, Firefly has not been able to find a welcoming heart and home for herself.  She is now in a foster home with children, dogs, and cats, but would probably prefer a quieter environment.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and FeLV/FIV negative.  All Firefly needs is someone to offer a place where she feels safe, and a family she can love.   If you think you can be her safe haven, please contact info@rchsks.org.
